Frank started in the insurance industry in 1972 with Argonaut Ins. Co., as an Underwriter working In Cranford, NJ and NYC. He transferred to PA as an Underwriting Supervisor, then moved to The PMA Group in 1980 where he rose through the ranks from Brokerage Account Executive to AVP of Brokerage Operations to VP of Marketing to VP of Brokerage and Agency Operations.
He formed Associated Specialty Insurance Agency in 1994 with his wife Bernadette as his partner and a short-term third party colleague. Over the next few years their 3 sons joined the firm, eventually ascending to positions of management. Along the way, Frank established many strong business partnerships with outstanding Insurance carriers that continue to serve the firm well today. With the ASIA Team in place, stressing professionalism, integrity and trustworthiness, Frank knows the firm will be in good hands.
Frank Jr. joined ASIA in 2001, and after serving various roles within the company, was promoted to President in January 2019. Prior to ASIA, he spent a combined 5 years working for the US Department of Defense and The Boeing Company. Frank graduated from Widener University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, then went on to graduate with a Juris Doctor from the Widener University School of Law and was sworn into the Pennsylvania Bar in May 2004.
Tim started his career with ASIA over 20 years ago. After Virginia Wesleyan University, he moved back to Pennsylvania to help build the family business, learning the industry from the Chairman himself. Starting as a part-time filer, faxer and receptionist in late 90’s, Tim worked his way up to Chief Information Officer with the support of his lovely Wife, Christine and two beautiful children, Madison and Jack.
When Tim doesn’t have his ASIA hat on, he spends most of his time coaching both of his children in Lacrosse, Football & Basketball, loving his two adorable dogs, Dakota and Reese, relaxing on the beach in Brigantine and golfing or fishing.
Anthony joined ASIA in 2016 as the Director of Marketing. He has been working in the Commercial Insurance space since 2005 and has been a Workers’ Comp Wholesaler since 2009. Anthony’s goal is to provide his agents with a solution on every opportunity no matter how big or small the account might be. Prior to joining ASIA in 2016, Anthony spent 11 years at Philadelphia Insurance Companies working in several departments including Customer Service, Marketing and Broker Services.
Art has worked in the Property-Casualty Industry for over 40 years on both the brokerage and company sides of our industry. He has held management positions for regional brokers and senior marketing and underwriting positions for two insurance companies. His background includes large risks and the developing and management of self insured programs for hospitals and association sponsored programs for banks.
Andrew joined ASIA in 2016 after spending two years with Valley Forge Insurance Brokerage. Prior to breaking into the insurance industry, Andrew worked as the Director of Food and Beverage at Merion Golf Club. Recently married, Andrew enjoys spending time with his new wife and attending Philadelphia sporting events.
Debbie has been in the insurance business for over 30 years working at Brokers, Insurance Companies and Wholesaler with her experience in Commercial and Personal Lines. Her career began at an Agency in Ardmore, PA in the Commercial Lines Marketing Department as an Assistant.
Ashley DaCosta joined ASIA’s team in September 2014. In her free time, Ashley enjoys watching documentaries and spending time with her loved ones and cat.
